This small and cosy family owned B&B is located right in the heart of Riga. It means, that it is situated few steps away from our shops, banks restaurants, fitness centres, close to the exhibiton and concert halls and only 15 min walk from historical centre Old Town [see map].

             Hotel Multilux is placed in Art Nouveau building from 1910 and this building is historic arhitectural monument.

            Our hotel is located on the crossroads of Ģertrūdes and Kr. Barona streets. Although the adress is Kr. Barona Street 37, the actual entrance is from Gertrudes Street. A name of Ģertrūdes street comes from the name of Old St. Gertrud's Church, which is only 5 minutes walk from our hotel. Kr. Barona street is named in a memory of the father of Latvian Folk Songs - Krisjanis Barons. Krisjanis Barons (1835-1923) gave up his life travelling arround Latvia, listening, writing down and collecting our Folk Songs. He made the Dainu Skapis: The Cabinet of Latvian Folk Songs. We are proud to say, that the owner of hotel Multilux is great-great- grandson of Krisjanis Barons.

            There is live public transport near our building. If you don't want to go on feet to the Old Town, you can use a tram, which goes every 2 minutes. It is very simple to reach Riga Zoo, Warrior's Cemetry, Ethnographic Open Air Museum and many other points of Riga's suburb from our hotel using public transport.

            Our aim is to offer maximum comfort and service for a minimum price.

            We offer our guests 30 rooms, that are complitely renovated with tasteful wooden furniture. There are cable TV, telephone and internet access with LAN cable in every room. If you don't have your personal computer with you, you can use the Guest's computer in the reception free of charge. Most of the rooms in our hotel are doubles or twins, but also there are singles, triples, quadruples. We have a room even for 6 persons. It is perfect for young people or students, who want to have extremely cheep high quality accommodation. Almost all rooms are with WC/shower in the room. But there are few rooms with facilities outside. In this case WC is situated near the room and is not shared with other rooms. There are 2 Studio-type rooms in our hotel, which is a double room with a small kichenette.
